Our Mission
At Saints 7s Tournament, we are dedicated to promoting the spirit of rugby through an annual competition that brings schools together to celebrate sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill. Since our establishment in 2009, we have aimed to enhance the participation of local schools in Singapore by offering an exciting platform to showcase their talents in rugby 7s. Over the years, we have extended this tournament to our neighboring friends. Our goal is to foster a love for the game and create lasting memories for players, coaches, and families alike.
Saints 7s through the years
It all began with an idea — and the energy of a group of St Andrew's School boys who turned that idea into action. The very first Saints 7s in 2009 was modest in size but big in heart, and it planted the seed for something truly special.
As the tournament grew in reputation, so did its reach. Schools from neighbouring countries were invited to join the fold, bringing with them fresh competition, new friendships and a regional flavour that gave Saints 7s an exciting new dimension. It was a proud moment that showed just how far a simple idea could travel.
The journey didn't stop there. In time, Singapore clubs were welcomed into the mix, broadening the Saints 7s family even further and making the tournament a true celebration of the Touch Rugby community — from school courts to club fields, all united under one roof for three wonderful days.
Now in its 14th edition, that founding spirit remains as strong as ever. Join us from 22 – 24 May as we celebrate another chapter of this special tournament — and the community that makes it all worthwhile.
